La Maison Avec Vue

La Maison Avec Vue is a beautiful new wedding venue located in Adelaide, Australia. Set amongst rolling hills and beautiful countryside, the venue boasts spectacular views to provide the ultimate backdrop to any dream wedding ceremony and reception. Having hosted multiple family weddings already, founder Amanda is now looking to develop the venue into a more established business, starting with the current Marquee / Canopy hire and later expanding to include another more permanent structure on the premises.

Our brief is to create a unique, professional and engaging brand identity to help bring the new business to life and set it up for future success with a flexible brand toolkit that can adapt to their needs as they grow. We also want to carry their identity across to a beautiful digital home in the form of a single page website that will showcase all the essential info and images that a couple might be looking for when choosing their perfect venue.

Packaging Design

Packaging is an essential element in telling your brand’s unique story, and helps to create that exceptional experience that has customers buying from you again and again.

Beginning with market research of your competitors and analysis of how we can make your product(s) stand out on the shelf, through to detailed design concepts and overseeing prototyping and production, we aim to be your partner throughout the process to ensure your packaging is even better than you imagined.

Deliverables

2 detailed packaging concepts including conceptual sketches of product container.

Print-ready artwork (where applicable).

Packaging guideline document outlining materials, finishes, pantone colours etc that can be sent to suppliers for future reordering.

Supplier sourcing and project management where we will find the best supplier for your specific needs and liaise with them during prototyping and final production.

Not Included

Please note that all production costs including but not limited to prototyping, proofing, cutter guide creation and final manufacture are not included. These are usually billed direct to the client by the chosen supplier where applicable. We will always discuss these costs with you beforehand.

Shopify

A bespoke, beautiful and strategically designed online presence that shows off your brand to its full potential and positions you for maximum growth. During this 8 week container, we will work in close partnership with you to get a thorough overview of your individual goals before creating an online home that your brand can be proud of and that your customers will love.

Based on the most reliable ecommerce platform, Shopify, our websites are based on premium themes to ensure compatibility with the most popular and widely used apps, and customised so that they are completely bespoke and tailored to your individual requirements. This helps us to achieve an optimum balance of custom design and reliability, and positions your brand for maximum growth with Shopify's built-in functionality.

Deliverables

2 visual concepts (homepage only) outlining look and feel

1 fully developed concept shown as a complete collection of wireframes for approval and sign-off before build commences

Premium theme

Upto 15 reusable page templates - including homepage, about page, collection page, product page(s), blog index, blog article, T&Cs, privacy policy, shipping, FAQs and any other additional pages that you need.

App integration - e.g. reviews, wishlist, back in stock notifications, and / or other.

Payment Plans

Your project will be divided into 5 monthly payments, with the first due upon completion of your contract, and then on the same date for 4 following months.

Our Process

Step 1 - Onboarding

The link below under 'Next Steps' will take you through to your contract. Upon signing you will automatically be sent an invoice for your deposit. Once your contract is signed and deposit paid we can get started! I will arrange a time with you for your strategy call and send you a short guide on things to think about to prepare for your session.

Step 2 - Strategy

Your strategy session is usually a 90min - 2hr session where I get to know all the finer details of your business and industry. I will then put together a detailed strategy document that provides a blueprint for how your brand will come together and how we plan to make your brand stand out from your competitors, as well as initial design directions in the form of mood boards.

Step 3 - Concepts

I will develop 2 detailed visual concepts for your brand identity and packaging, showing how all the individual elements come together to create your brand as a whole. I will send the concepts to you for your feedback and can make any required revisions before moving onto the refinement stage.

Step 4 - Refinement

Based on your feedback I will refine the concepts and then ask you to pick your chosen route for further development. This is where we polish everything up and make sure your brand and packaging are even better than you imagined. You will also have another round of revisions where you can request any changes to make sure everything is perfect!

Step 5 - Wrapping Up

I hand over all your sparkly new brand assets and packaging artwork to you if I haven't already done so. You will also receive brand guidelines that provides a useful reference for your brand to hand over to any other contractors you might be working with. This will give you a comprehensive toolkit to bring your brand to life consistently whatever the application.

Step 6 - Time to celebrate!

In this final stage of the process, I oversee the proofing and prototyping of your packaging for approval so that you can see how the finished product looks! If you are proceeding straight to manufacture I will also liase with you and the supplier to ensure a seamless hand-off. Then it's time to sit back and celebrate!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there anything I need to provide?

For branding, generally no, other than any inspiration you would like me to include! I will send you a short guide of things to think about for your strategy session but that's about it! For packaging, I will need your finalised product information, including ingredients, legal notices and any symbols that are required by law. I can create the initial design for your packaging without these, however we won't be able to proceed to proofing and prototyping without this information.

How do I provide content / needed items?

Each of my clients has their own folder on the studio google drive where I store all your work in progress and eventually your final files. I will share the link for your folder after onboarding alongside a word template for providing your copy.

How long will the process take?

Generally, combined branding and packaging projects take 6-8 weeks for the design stage. If you are proceeding straight to production, manufacturing timelines will depend on your chosen supplier and their schedule. I will liaise with them throughout the process to make sure you know what is happening and when!

Are we able to arrange payment plans?

Of course! I want to make your project as flexible as possible for you. Our projects are split into 3 monthly payments as standard, with a start, middle and end payment. If you would like to arrange a payment plan over a longer period, such as 6 months, just drop me an email :)

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers in AUD, GBP and EUR, and card payments via Stripe.

Is there any flexibility with pricing?

While we have structured our pricing according to the time and expertise involved, we're always open to a discussion with you! Sometimes we might be able to reduce deliverables to fit your budget or come to a solution involving a special payment plan. Please don't hesitate to ask us if you're concerned or unsure!

I need help with copy writing, is this something you can do?

We don't do copywriting ourselves, however we have worked with some amazing copywriters that we could recommend. We have worked alongside them on previous projects and are able to integrate their process and schedule seamlessly into your project as an additional member of the team.

Can you help with Social Media?

We don't provide social media management services at this time, however all of our brand identity projects include a full suite of social media templates (for stories and feed posts) that are provided in Canva for ease of use. These allow for easy editing and updating so that you have a full toolkit available either for yourself or to pass over to a social media manager / agency.
